For over 30 years, I have been practicing Vedic Meditation daily.
And now, I’m ready to share that knowledge with you.
I have over 2000 hours of training with masters of Vedic Meditation in India, have completed the prerequisite courses on Vedic Meditation, and have taken training in advanced techniques.
Before I Meditated
Before learning the power of Vedic Meditation, my life was a series of high peaks and low valleys. I was able to design many incredible opportunities for myself in creative professions but often could not capitalize upon them due to unsustainable patterns of behaviors that were rooted in overloads of stress, unreliable emotional responses, and alcoholism. I bounced from career to career, before pursuing the life of a travel-bum / writer.
While I experienced an influx of creative energy during this period, I lacked the clarity and direction needed to properly channel it. I was presented with countless incredible opportunities that I failed, due to these recurrent cycles in my life, which only left me perplexed and disheartened.
After I Learned to Meditate
In 1996, all that changed: I learned Vedic Meditation and incorporated the practice into my daily life. I watched in awe as the negative cycles that had previously dominated my life were broken. I finally found clarity and direction.
I was able to earn two degrees, successfully run a bi-coastal business for 22 years—and I also have nearly 30 years of sobriety under my belt. I am married to a fellow meditator and we have two children and two adorable dogs.
I taught mindfulness to elite athletes, and I have directed over 200 people to learn meditation from qualified VM teachers.
The path that led me to becoming a qualified Vedic Meditation Teacher was long and winding, but I couldn’t be more honored and thankful to be here.
